High school awareness

We believe that high school students should be exposed to different professions and know about different careers before they go to university and choose specific field. Employees from GB Auto will be speaking to high school students about their profession, career path and the development they went through to be who they are today inspiring these students on how to choose their right career. Sponsorship – Baja SAE Helwan University

One of the main objectives of the Graduate program is to create linkages with educational institutions to establish an ongoing GB presence and branding an employer of choice.
GB Auto is going to sponsor Helwan University senior students in their bachelor project in the Baja SAE (Society of Automotive Engineering) competition held in Texas every year. The competition is to encourage students to manufacture BAJA racing car which is a single seat, off-road race car able to conquer all types of terrain. It can drive across lakes, fly off jumps, go over boulders and two foot diameter logs, and climb 45 degree slopes.
They race on dirt, mud, snow, ice, rocks and any terrain imaginable. The competition examines the team business plan, presentation skills, management, engineering design & manufacturing skills. GB Auto aims at developing engineers who are capable of designing and manufacturing a 100 -percent Egyptian car.
